Tim Tebow 'Playing Santa' By Paying Walmart Layaways on Good Morning America [VIDEO]

Tim Tebow is handing off some holiday cheer to those who desperately need it the most. The former Heisman Trophy winner turned Good Morning America contributor was in Orlando this weekend, helping Walmart shoppers pay off their layaway tabs.

"I love Santa, but getting to play Santa is way more fun," Tebow told GMA's George Stephanopoulos.

In the video below, you can watch Tebow surprise customer after customer. You'd have to be a real Scrooge to not smile at the genuine emotion and gratitude each one displays.

“You don’t understand how hard I’ve been working,” one shopper told Tebow after the act of charity. “And then I said I was going to take stuff off because I can’t afford everything, and then this. Just thank you. I just want to cry.”
