Chelsea: John Terry and Ashley Cole Return to Training

Chelsea defenders John Terry and Ashley Cole started training sessions, pointing to the fact that the duo might be fit for the clash against Queens Park Rangers Saturday.

There is bound to be some friction in the air, as Terry meets Ferdinand for the English Premier League clash, after the trial in which the Chelsea defender was accused of racially abusing Ferdinand; Terry was found not guilty. Ferdinand will also have issues with Cole, after the left-back testified on behalf of Terry at the trial earlier this summer.

The Premier League has no plans to abandon the pre-match handshake ritual, which caused so many problems when Manchester United and Liverpool met at Old Trafford, with Luis Suarez refusing to shake Patrice Evra's hand.

It is believed, Ferdinand will, most probably, refuse to shake both players' hands, if Terry and Cole make it to the starting XI. Roberto Di Matteo might even consider resting both players, even if they are passed fit, to avoid any further controversy.

Meanwhile, Eden Hazard has reiterated his desire to become a better player at Chelsea.

Hazard made a high-profile move from French club Lille to the Blues this summer, and the Belgian international had a huge impact already.

"I love to set up my team-mates," Hazard told Champions Matchday magazine.

"I am not here to be a star, to show off. I am here to play for the others, but if I have to try and clinch a game then I will."

Hazard added he is impressed by Chelsea's stature in the Premier League and hopes to adapt to his new surroundings as quickly as possible. "It's totally different here," he said. "With Lille we could have gone to the South of France and people would not have recognised us.

"But at Chelsea, the players are at another level. Everything has changed for me -- the language, the country -- but it is up to me to adapt."
