Dallas has dropped two straight games heading into this match while Toronto has won three of four games.

The Stars are coming off of a 5-2 loss to the Colorado Avalanche on Saturday that saw Cody Eakin notch is fifth goal of the season.

The team was not happy with its effort following the game.

"I thought we were totally embarrassed today," Stars coach Lindy Ruff told NHL.com. "What we did with the puck and how many giveaways and how many turnovers, it was pathetic. We've got to wipe it clean. Look at what is ahead of us. I don't buy back-to-back games or lack of energy. Our effort wasn't good enough. We got outworked."

Dallas has been powered by Tyler Seguin, who is first in the NHL with 18 goals and third with 31 points. Jamie Benn has eight tallies and 15 helpers to rank second on the team with 23 points and Jason Spezza has found the back of the net four times and added 15 assists for 19 points.

The Maple Leafs are coming off of a 6-2 victory over the Washington Capitals on Saturday that saw Tyler Bozak notch two goals.

"We spread them out and we moved the puck around," coach Randy Carlyle said via NHL.com. "It wasn't really one-dimensional; we worked from both sides of the ice."

Bozak is second on Toronto with 22 points off of 11 goals and 11 assists this season. Phil Kessel paces the Leafs with 25 points off of 11 markers and 14 helpers while James van Riemsdyk has lit the lamp nine times and added 10 assists for 19 points.

In net, Toronto is slated to turn to Jonathan Bernier, who is 8-5-3 with a 2.59 goals-against average and a .917 save percentage.

Dallas, meanwhile, will turn to Kari Lehtonen in the crease, and he is 9-5-5 with a 3.03 GAA and a .905 save percentage.

The Stars and Maple Leafs collide tonight when they take the ice at the Air Canada Centre tonight in Toronto.
