NFL Week 13 Picks: Denver Broncos On Upset Alert In Primetime? [PREDICTIONS, VIDEO]

If you, topically, think of Week 13 of the NFL as the sports equivalent of a Thanksgiving feast, those Thursday holiday games were really just the stuffing and cranberries; we still have to get to Sunday’s main feast.

Ten of the NFL’s Hottest WAGs

Detroit, Dallas, and San Francisco were the site of three fabulous games, but there’s plenty more action to sink your teeth into this coming Sunday.

Here are three must-watch games from Sunday’s Week 13 slate:

San Diego vs. Baltimore
This game features two four-loss AFC teams that are on the outside looking in of the conference’s playoff picture. The winner can breateh easy for at least another week, while the loser will have a major uphill battle for the second wild card. Both teams have strong-armed quarterbacks, but both also possess one of the top ten pass defenses in the league. Either Rivers or Flacco will make one ill-advised toss that decides the game in the second half. My money is on the visiting Rivers.
Prediction: Ravens 28, Chargers 24

Denver vs. Kansas City
Last week the Broncos survived a surprisingly-scary challenge from the Dolphins, while the Chiefs had the dubious distinction of providing the Raiders with their first win of the season. The Chiefs need this game badly if they want to hold onto any hope of winning the AFC West, and Andy Reid will have the team rested and prepared after the extra 3-days rest. Arrowhead is one of the best home field advantages in football, and there’s no reason to think that crowd won’t be wild and raucous from the opening kick.
Prediction: Chiefs 38, Broncos 35

New England vs. Green Bay
The Patriots are 8-2 and have recently provided beatdowns to some of the league’s best teams (Colts, Broncos, Lions just to name a few). Will the Packers follow suit and be their latest victim? Aaron Rodgers will keep this game close, but the Green Bay rush defense is still too creaky to withstand an engaged running corps led by suddenly rejuvenated LaGarrette Blount and Jonas Gray (assuming the latter isn’t benched again this Sunday).
Prediction: Patriots 24, Packers 17
