Dennis Rodman, former NBA star and current celebrity ambassador-of-sorts with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, was with some unlikely celebrities Saturday...Kendall and Kylie Jenner.
The two Jenner sisters are the half-sisters of Kim, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian, all of whom are reality television stars. Kim and Khloe also have several ties to professional athletes; Kim has been married to Brooklyn Nets forward Kris Humphries and dated Detroit Lions running back Reggie Bush and Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Matt Kemp while Khloe is married to Los Angeles Clippers forward Lamar Odom.
Kendall and Kylie were making an appearance at Brea Mall in Orange County, California, to debut their Pac Sun clothing line when Rodman dropped by to say hello to the youngsters. The pair of sisters shook hands with Rodman and captioned a photo on their Instagram account "lol surprise! Dennis Rodman everybody."
Rodman was recently in the news and all over the internet for comments he made about President Barack Obama. Rodman said, We got a black President can't even go talk to him [Kim Jong Un], how about that one?...I'll put it like this, Obama can't do s***. I don't know why he won't do it." Rodman has involved himself in the saga of American Kenneth Bae, who was sentenced to 15 years of hard labor.
Rodman tried to convince Kim Jong Un to release Bae by tweeting, "I'm calling on the Supreme Leader of North Korea or as I call him "Kim", to do me a solid and cut Kenneth Bae loose." Rodman's plea may fall on deaf ears; Bae is accused of plotting to overthrow the North Korean government and committing "hostile acts."
In a recent interview with Fabulous Kim Kardashian praised her two half-siblings by saying, "My little sisters have grown up so amazingly, with really good heads on their shoulders." Kardashian is currently pregnant with the child of rapper and producer Kanye West.
