Peyton Manning is almost always the big story whenever a game is going on, but in St. Louis the talk will be about Rams coach Jeff Fisher turning the offense back over to Shaun Hill, and benching Austin Davis. After a quick start to his reign as starter Davis melted down, throwing five interceptions to three touchdowns in his last three games.

Hill expressed excitement to be back at the helm of the offense, but said his weekly preparation won't be any different. "Obviously it sparks your excitement a little bit and all those things, but as far as preparation goes, everything's the same," Hill said.

They'll need the offense in high gear; they enter this week with the NFL's 30th-ranked pass defense per FootballOutsiders.com, and are facing the NFL's all-time leader in touchdown passes. This season Manning has torched almost every defense in his path to the tune of 29 touchdowns and 323.6 yards per game. He has also thrown three or more touchdowns in seven of nine games.

They will likely be without running back Ronnie Hillman this week though, who has broken out as the primary replacement for Montee Ball, who is listed as probable this week. Fellow reserve C.J. Anderson is also expected to get increased touches.

"(Anderson's performance) speaks to the depth we have," Broncos coach John Fox said. "We've been pretty fortunate to have some guys stepping in and doing a good job. I think it's a tribute to those guys being on top of their craft."
