Australia will have all rounder Shane Watson back for this matchup, which is a major storyline as both sides prepare for the impending World Cup. They may also return bowler Pat Cummins, whom captain AJ Finch is very excited to welcome back.
"For Australian cricket to have him back is a real asset. He's someone who can swing the ball and in Twenty20 it's about taking wickets, and he's a definite wicket-taker. If you can knock over good players early in this format I think it goes a long way to winning the game in the first six overs," Finch said.
On the South African side, all rounder JP Duminy has been entrusted with the captaincy. Ahead of today's match, he singled out bowler Marchant de Lange for some praise.
"He's bowling some good pace in domestic scenes and he definitely deserves his call-up again. It's been unfortunate that he's one of these guys that has been hampered by injuries, but he's fit and strong and ready to go. It'll be good to see him out representing the country again."
