Beyonce Knowles, wife of Jay-Z and celebrity of equal stature, has gone on record as saying she wants more children with Shawn Carter, known better as rapper, business mogul and Brooklyn Nets owner Jay-Z.
Beyonce has been very busy lately, starring in an animated film called Epic in which she will play a character named "Queen Tara."
"It's such a beautiful role. And, you know, it has so much depth. You know, it's so emotional. And I literally-- I was crying when I did the voiceover. And it was the first thing I did after giving birth. And-- and there's a scene where I pick the pod. And literally there were tear-- tears fallin'," Beyonce said. The singer/actress said she was thinking about her first daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, when doing her voiceovers. It was really emotional and a perfect first-- first-- job for me."
She went on to express her desire to have more children and build a larger family. "I would like more children. I think my daughter needs some company. I definitely love being a big sister. And-- at some point, when it's supposed to happen."
Jay-Z has been busy as well, starting up a new partnership with Creative Artists Agency and forming Roc Nation Sports, a high-powered sports agency that has already lured premier athletes such as New York Yankees' second baseman Robinson Cano and New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz.
Jay-Z's plate may have cleared up just a bit last week, though, when his Brooklyn Nets were upset at home by the Chicago Bulls and eliminated from the 2013 postseason. Jay-Z has designs on becoming a sports agent himself, so news reports have cropped up about him selling his ownership shares in the Nets organization. He was responsible for designing the Nets' uniforms and still has a stake in the Barclays Center itself, which is where the Nets play their home games.
