RANGERS vs MARINERS Watch FREE Live Stream Online & Listen: Live Coverage from SEATTLE

Today at 3:40 p.m. ET, the Texas Rangers (51-80) and Seattle Mariners (72-59) clash at Safeco Field for the rubber match of a three-game set live from Seattle. The game can be live streamed for free here. Texas fans can hear all of the action on 103.3 ESPN while Seattle fans can do the same on 710 ESPN.

Texas embarks on the third contest of a 10-game road trip while Seattle takes the field for the third tilt in a six-game homestand. The Rangers blanked the Mariners 2-0 in the season opener on Monday while the M's bounced back with a shutout of their own, posting a 5-0 win on Tuesday.

Texas enters play with the worst record in the MLB and is out of playoff contention while Seattle currently holds the second wild-card spot with a half-game lead on the Detroit Tigers and is six games behind the Los Angeles Angels in the American League West, where they sit in third place.

Colby Lewis (8-11, 5.54 ERA) takes the mound for the Rangers while the Mariners counter with Erasmo Ramirez, who is 1-5 with a 4.06 ERA.

Ramirez was recalled from Triple-A Tacoma and will pitch with the Mariners in need of a huge win to continue their hold on the wild-card.

"I think he's done a nice job. We've called him up a couple times and he's pitched well for us. He's given us opportunities to win ballgames," manager Lloyd McClendon said via MLB.com.

Ramirez will be opposed by Lewis, who is looking to win every game despite the Rangers being far out of the playoff hunt.

"For me, we're still trying to win every ballgame," Lewis told MLB.com. "The bottom line is we want to win as many games as we can. That's the only thought process we have."

Lewis will face a Mariners lineup that is anchored by second baseman and pricey free agent acquisition Robinson Cano. Cano ranks fourth in the AL with a .326 batting average and 157 hits and has added 12 homers and 71 RBI. Third baseman Kyle Seager leads Seattle with 19 homers and 80 RBI.

The Rangers counter with a lineup that is flanked by third baseman Adrian Beltre, who ranks tied for second in the AL with a .327 batting average and leads Texas with 17 homers and 66 RBI.

The Rangers and Mariners close out their three-game set with the rubber match when they take the field this afternoon at Safeco Field in Seattle.
