Tonight at 7:30 p.m. ET the New York Giants (1-0) will open up their home preseason schedule against the Pittsburgh Steelers at MetLife Stadium which can be live streamed by clicking this link. Giants fans can listen to the radio broadcast on 101.9 WFAN while Steelers fans may do the same on 102.5 WDVE.
With running back David Wilson officially out for the season, and potentially forever, rookie running back Andre Williams will be looking to build on an impressive debut in last week's Hall of Fame game.
Against the Bills, Williams toted the rock seven times for 48 yards and a touchdown. In his finals season at Boston College, Williams shouldered an unbelievable workload of 355 carries but did the most he could with it. Williams ran for a whopping 2,177 yards and found the end zone 18 times.
The Giants' offense also looked crisp through the air too, with starter Eli Manning who completed 6-of-7 passes for 42 yards in limited action.
The Steelers will be getting an early look at their own new addition in the backfield-LeGarrette Blount. Despite almost starting a fight in the early goings of training camp the Steelers coaching staff seems pleased with Blount so far.
"Easy for me to work with," running backs coach James Saxon said of the new back. "Great for the (running backs) room and the guy's an outstanding runner. Very prideful guy. Comes to work every single day. Wants to do it right."
Last season with the New England Patriots, Blount rushed for five yards per carry, 772 yards total and seven touchdowns.
