ESPN Suspends Dan Le Batard For Billboards Mocking LeBron James [VIDEO]

ESPN suspended radio and television talk-show host Dan Le Batard for two days Thursday for a billboard signs he purchased in Cleveland and Akron, Ohio, sarcastically thanking LeBron James for his time in Miami.

Le Batard has openly stated his plans to purchase ads in Northeast Ohio newspapers to take jabs at James for leaving the Miami Heat and returning to the Cleveland Cavaliers this summer.

He spoke about the plan with Miami Herald columnist and occasional co-host Greg Cote, according to USAToday.com.

"It's just fun anarchy. All meant in fun - which, of course, will turn into Cleveland people getting filled with rage, poison and irrational hostility and want to use those billboards as a guillotine. Sports are so great, the more irrational the better. This is a publicity stunt disguised as a movement. Please don't tell anyone there is no actual movement."

When several newspapers regretted his offer to buy ads, Le Batard turned his attention to billboards.
