Triple H and The Undertaker stared each other down on the Feb. 21, 2011 edition of Monday Night RAW and then looked toward the big WrestleMania XXVIII sign hanging in the rafters without speaking a word.

McMahon said even though nothing was said the match at the biggest show of them all between two icons was implied in what he thought was a powerful moment.

"No words could have been said and shouldn't have been," McMahon said. "Silence is a very important tool used at the right time so it draws you in. It makes you think. It engages you as an audience and it can become very uncomfortable, but it makes you think. So when you have two icons like that not saying anything, it was just like wow that was a cool moment."

He added: "Silence is a great tool in terms of getting someone's attention and entertaining if you have the right characters."

McMahon went on to say that silence is also a good tool for negotiating and even gave an example about using it to make people uncomfortable on the other side of the phone.

"People become uncomfortable and moreover they want to fit in all of those blanks," McMahon said. "And that's what the audience was doing...filling in the blanks, 'what if this, what if that oh my god,' which allowed you that opportunity to think and feel that moment. Words would have destroyed that moment."

The Undertaker went on to defeat Triple H in a No Holds Barred match that year at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta to become 19-0 at the Show of Shows. 'Taker would then go on to defeat Triple H again the following year and then CM Punk at WrestleMania XXIX to go 21-0 before losing to Lesnar on April 6 at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans to go 21-1.

McMahon was reportedly instrumental with the decision to have The Undertaker lose to Lesnar, but it appears based on his comments he knew what he had in The Undertaker character and got the most out of it during WrestleMania season.
