Jon Jones Next Fight: Daniel Cormier Replacing Injured Alexander Gustafsson, 'Bones' Six-Year-Old Daughter Talks Smack [VIDEO]

Jon "Bones" Jones didn't want to face Alexander Gustafsson in his next fight, claiming a fight with converted heavyweight Daniel Cormier would be more interesting since he hadn't beaten him yet. The UFC scheduled a Gustafsson rematch anyway, but now he's pulled out of the fight because of injury, allowing Jones' wish of a Cormier fight to be granted.

Gustafsson got a second shot because of the closeness of his first bout with Jones, and the popular demand of the fans. He tore his meniscus in training, however, and doesn't have a timetable yet for his return. Cormier isn't 100 percent either. He fought through a torn LCL and partially torn ACL against Dan Henderson, handling him easily despite the injuries. Cormier is going to postpone the surgeries necessary to repair the damage in his knee though in order to fight the Jones, widely considered the top pound-for-pound fighter in mixed martial arts. Jones seems excited about the challenge of facing the undefeated Cormier, who has never lost a single round of UFC action in either the heavyweight or light heavyweight division. "This is the fight I wanted in the first place. Nothing like fresh meat #Champion2014," Jones tweeted.

He also direct messaged Cormier on Twitter saying "I hope you're ready to come to daddy." Even Jones's six-year-old daughter got in on the fun, appearing in an Instagram video to tell Cormier "DC, my dad's going to beat you up. Guaranteed."
