NBA Coach Rumors: Kurt Rambis, Lakers Meet About Coaching Job, Cavaliers Start Search With Adrian Griffin [VIDEO]

Continuing to update on the ever spinning NBA coaching carousel, the Los Angeles Lakers and Cleveland Cavaliers have interviewed Kurt Rambis and Adrian Griffin, respectively. These names are just the latest to get in on two of the more appealing jobs left on the NBA market.

Current Lakers' assistant, Rambis interviewed with general manager Mitch Kupchak last week as part of the initial cast of coaches interviewing for the job. Rambis joins Byron Scott and Mike Dunleavy as the first round of candidates for a job the Lakers are in no rush to fill.

The Lakers also have planned interviews with Clippers assistant Alvin Gentry and former Grizzlies coach Lionel Hollins--the latter expressed his interest in the team before receiving a formal interview.

The Cavaliers, on the other hand, are just getting started with their coaching search as Chicago Bulls assistant coach Adrian Griffin was the first candidate to formally interview. The Cavaliers are also rumored to be interested in Florida coach Billy Donovan, who denied formal interest but made no guarantees about his time in Florida.
