Jacksonville Jaguars Rumors: Jags Will Pick Jadeveon Clowney Over Johnny Manziel, Teddy Bridgewater? [VIDEO]

Here at Sports World News we will count down each NFL teams’ 2014 draft needs and perfect fits. At the end of every team we will make a pick on who the team could take at their position.

2013 Review: The Jaguars played hard in 2013, but without a capable quarterback they will never compete in this league. The Jaguars have a coach with vision for the first time since Tom Coughlin and now they need to capitalize. No matter where it comes from, Jacksonville needs to walk away with the guy they think can be a franchise quarterback.

Needs:
Quarterback:
The Jaguars have nothing at quarterback and need to draft their guy. Jacksonville might pull a Redskins move and draft two guys and see what happens. The quarterback of the next few years needs to be found this year.

Wide Receiver:  This isn't as big a need for the Jaguars as the others, but if Justin Blackmon is going to miss an extended period of time the team needs to consider him finished. Grabbing a replacement in a very receiver-heavy draft can’t hurt the new quarterback's development.

Running Back:  Toby Gerhart has never carried the work load on his own and until he does we should assume he can’t. Jacksonville should add a late round playmaker out of the backfield to complement Gerhart.

Targets:Johnny Manziel, QB, Texas A&M
Sammy Watkins, WR, Clemson
Khalil Mack, DE/OLB, Buffalo
Jadeveon Clowney, DE, South Carolina

Best First Round Fits:  Jadeveon Clowney, DE, South Carolina
Through all their needs the Jaguars should still draft Clowney if they get the chance. Clowney would become the face of the franchise and sell tickets for a team that could definitely use it. Gus Bradley would make Clowney the best player he could be, and if the reports are true Clowney will be dangerous.
