Steve Nash: Point Guard Happy In L.A.

Lakers point guard Steve Nash told USA Today that he is content with his decision to join Los Angeles this offseason, despite a disappointing performance from the team thus far.

"Ten out of 10 times, I make the same decision again," Nash said on Wednesday.

Nash, a former two-time MVP and future Hall of Famer, opted to join the Lakers in July with high expectations playing alongside Kobe Bryant, Pau Gasol, and eventually Dwight Howard after the completion of his trade. However, due to injuries and a lack of chemistry at times, the Lakers find themselves ninth in the Western Conference trailing Houston by 2.5 games for the final playoff seed.

But Nash vows he is content with his role in L.A., despite the team's struggles and his lack of a bigger role. "It'd be nice, in some ways, to have a bigger impact on the game," Nash said. "You have to balance it with all the guys, all their needs and personalities. I embrace it. I really appreciate it."
