TNA Impact Spoilers and Results: Eric Young new TNA Champion, Magnus out for revenge?

Change has come to TNA Impact Wrestling, with Eric Young capturing the TNA World Heavyweight Championship from Magnus on last week's episode that aired Thursday 4/10/14. Below are TNA Impact spoilers and results for Thursday 4/17/14.

Last week on TNA Impact, EY survived a 10-man gauntlet where he beat Abyss, Samoa Joe, Bobby Lashley, WIllow (Jeff Hardy's alter-ego), Bully Ray, and others. Then, because Eric Young thought anything was possible after running the gauntlet, he asked TNA director of operations MVP to move up his TNA World Heavyweight Title match against Magnus from the TNA Sacrifice PPV on Sunday 4/27/14 to right away.

MVP agreed, Magnus complained, and at the end of the night, the rest was history.

So where does TNA Impact go from here? This Thursday's Impact spoilers for 4/17/14 are as follows, courtesy of TNAInsider.com

Eric Young's TNA Impact World Heavyweight Title celebration kicks things off. Rather than being interrupted by Magnus (surprisingly), EY is actually interrupted by TNA President Dixie Carter. Dixie tries to propose that she and EY work together, but Young says she's not in charge anymore. She responds by saying Young's wife ODB could be on the chopping block if he isn't careful.

This brings out Dixie's nemesis of late Bully Ray, who says Eric Young is a role model for every other wrestler. Bully Ray, EY, and the crowd then send Dixie off with a "Goodbye" chant and she storms off.

--MVP comes out and says Samoa Joe won't talk to him, and he called Joe disgruntled. Austin Aries returns to Impact and interrupts MVP, and they end up booking a fight against each other for next week on Impact.

--TNA Impact champion Eric Young def. Abyss in a Monster's Ball match. The end came when Young dropkicked Abyss into barbed wire and then hit an Elbow Drop from the top rope for the pin-fall victory.
