Tonight at 8:00 p.m. ET on TNT, the Brooklyn Nets (42-34) will attempt to go into Miami and sweep the season series vs. the Miami Heat (53-23), who currently sit one game ahead of the Indiana Pacers in the Eastern Conference playoff race. The Heat may still be without two-guard Dwyane Wade as they look to avoid a fourth consecutive loss to Brooklyn, and head coach Erik Spoelstra wasn't in the mood to divulge much of his game plan tonight.

"All we have to know about Brooklyn is we haven't beaten them this year, including the preseason," Spoelstra said.

The Nets' season has been up-and-down, but after acquiring ex-Celtics Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett in the offseason, it's no surprise the Nets give Miami fits. "It's not only against LeBron, it's when you play against the best," Pierce said.

"This is the class of the league. This is the two-time defending champions and we're coming down the stretch. These games are big."

Miami's struggled a tad more than many expected this year as they chase a three-peat, but they get opponents' best every night. They just overcame an outburst from J.R. Smith to top the Knicks in a slugfest.

"We're going to be in situations like that in the playoffs pretty soon, and the trick is just to stay confident and stay with what you're doing," Heat power forward Chris Bosh said. "It's a difficult thing to do, but we're getting good preparation for it right now, it's good practice." The Heat have been ramping up the intensity, even getting after one another on the sidelines.

"Verbally spitting at each other, I like it," Spoelstra said. "That's what we need to get ready for the second season."
