Today at 13:00 GMT, or 8:00 a.m. ET the ICC World T20 semifinals continue from Shere Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur as the South Africans prepare to go head-to-head with India in a matchup that threatens to become a shortened shootout thanks to potentially severe storms. Each side enters with different kinds of momentum; the Indians have been outright dominant, putting forth well-rounded performances and getting through the Super 10 stage unblemished.

On the other hand, the South Africans have had a nearly magical touch, winning games they likely had no business emerging from on the right end. The main reason for their shaky performances has been inconsistent batting-that doesn't bode well in the face of Indian bowlers who have found a nice groove. There is also some controversy about where red-hot AB de Villiers will bat; he's thrived in the three-hole but may have to move aside for returning captain Faf du Plessis.

The key for India will be scorching bowler Amit Mishra, who has nine wickets in this tournament and is averaging 8.77, with a wicket every 10th delivery. For South Africa, their up-and-down batsmen have forced the squad to rely on bowling, which is heavily dependent on two men-- Imran Tahir and Dale Steyn. Wayne Parnell will likely have to step up for the South Africans to compete, and although he was good vs. England, this is a different animal.
