DeSean Jackson to Redskins? Deal 'near done'; Does D-Jax fix Washington offensive woes, save RG3? [VIDEO]

After being courted by Robert Griffin III and apparently hitting the town with Pierre Garçon, DeAngelo Hall and rapper Wale, DeSean Jackson to the Washington Redskins is getting mixed signals, but rumors are the deal is “near done”.

Jackson was released by the Eagles on Friday and looks to be landing rather quickly in an unexpected area such as Washington. The early rumors places Jackson from Oakland to Kansas City, but it looks like the controversial receiver will find himself in the NFC East once again with the rival Redskins.

We assume the Redskins have done their homework on Jackson and everything checks with his Los Angeles friends. The Redskins have never been one to shy away from allayer with off the field issues and owner Dan Synder is one to ignore controversy completely. If Jackson does sign with the Redskins they would be set at receiver for the near future with Garcon and new addiction Andre Roberts on the roster. If RGII can return to form and the team can stay out of the media, the Redskins seemed prime to bounce back on offense in 2014.
