The South Africans are facing a must-win situation today in Bangladesh, but the Netherlands' most recent effort was so putrid the South Africans may be brimming with confidence. Sri Lanka dominated the Netherlands their last time out, bowling them out for 39 runs.

That is well and good, but South Africa's bowling depth may be put to the test, with leading man Dale Steyn nursing a sore hamstring and Wayne Parnell dismissed for this matchup due to an impending court appearance. If Steyn can't go, or is given some rest, he will be replaced by Aaron Phangiso and Beuran Hendricks, unproven commodities in such a big spot.

With the bowlers in question, South Africa's slumping batsmen will be put to the test. Stars Hashim Amla and Quinton de Kock have not played up to their capability, while David Miller's failed to provide the slugging they need.

The Dutch squad looked horrific vs. Sri Lanka, and while they are definitely underdogs today they will be looking to prove the truly dreadful last performance was a mere fluke. To do that, they'll need Tom Cooper to thrive in the spotlight.

It's worth remembering the Dutch team did qualify for the Super 10, and did so behind double figures from Cooper in a thriller over a quality Irish team.
