Irsay was charged with four felony counts of possession of a controlled substance and reports are that prescriptions were scattered around his car. Adam Schefter also reports Irsay can be disciplined by the NFL.
Colts owner Jim Irsay will be subject to league discipline under the Personal Conduct Policy. It applies to all NFL personnel.

Never one to stay out of the spotlight, Colts owner Jim Irsay was arrested early Monday morning on preliminary charges of DWI and possession of a controlled substance.
Around 3:00 a.m. this morning Irsay was booked on operating a vehicle while intoxicated and his bond was set at $22,500. Irsay has had a history with controlled substances as early as 2002 when he checked into a rehabilitation center for an addiction to painkillers.

Irsay will have to answer for this in a court of law, but the league office could very well drop the hammer on one of the NFL’s most charismatic owners once all is said and done.
