Tonight at 6:00 p.m. ET the No. 4 Arizona Wildcats, almost assured of being a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament, will keep gunning for a Pac-12 conference tournament title on Fox Sports 1 when they take on unranked UCLA. Live stream the game here; 'Zona fans can hear the game on 1290 AM The Source, while Bruins backers can do the same 570 Fox Sports LA.
Today's championship game features the Wildcats as 5.5-point favorites, and will assure they are a No. 1 seed, if not the top seed overall.
"I think we're playing really well right now. We did just beat a good Colorado team," guard T.J. McConnell said. "In the second half, our offense was a lot better. We were moving, screening, cutting. We were making open shots, and we were executing the offense. I think if we do that on a nightly basis, it's going to be pretty tough for us to lose."
McConnell is a bulldog defensively for Arizona, and a 33 percent threat from downtown. He also averages 5.5 assists per game, and benefits from the attention drawn away from him by stars Aaron Gordon and junior guard Nick Johnson.
"This is the rivalry everyone came here to watch," UCLA big man Travis Wear said. "Arizona is obviously one of the top teams in the country defensively. Both of us can score the ball. It's going to be a good game."
Johnson was the conference Player of the Year, but UCLA sophomore Jordan Adams is every bit as explosive as his Wildcat counterpart. Adams scored 17.2 points a night for the Bruins, while hitting 47 percent from the field and 36 percent from 3-point land.
