Darrelle Revis rumors [VIDEO]: Bucs not trading CB despite Eagles, Patriots, Jets, Falcons and Giants showing interest?

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have reportedly received plenty of interest from teams around the league after word broke that they were shopping cornerback Darrelle Revis and had plans to cut him if they couldn't find a trade partner. However reports indicate that the Bucs are unlikely to deal him, and will likely allow him to hit the open market.

According to NFL.com, it currently seems unlikely that the Bucs will deal Revis, but they may still cut him to get him off their books, which would lead him to free agency.

NFL.com reports that Revis' camp would rather have the corner hit the open market than for him to take a pay cut to sign elsewhere. Still, he received plenty of interest with the Cleveland Browns looking to be the top suitor while the Oakland Raiders and New England Patriots both fancied him. The Pats just watched corner Aqib Talib sign with the Denver Broncos so they'd be particularly interested in his servies.

Revis is also open for a return to the New York Jets, who dealt him to Tampa Bay last spring after an injury-riddled season in 2012. Revis "loves Rex Ryan," according to an NFL.com report of those who were close with him, however for the Jets to sign him it may take some repairing in the relationship between Revis and general manager John Idzik as well as owner Woody Johnson.

According to the report, the New York Giants, Atlanta Falcons and Philadelphia Eagles have also emerged as possible suitors for Revis.

If Revis isn't off of Tampa's books by Wednesday, at 4:00 p.m. ET, the conditional fourth-round pick that the Jets received from the Bucs would become a third-rounder, so it's likely that the Buccaneers part ways with the cornerback before Wednesday's deadline, leading to him hitting the open market.

Revis, who is infamous for demanding more money and holding out on contracts he's already agreed to for more money, will likely relish being on the market and controlling his own fate and demands.

Revis, 28, appeared in all 16 games with the Bucs last season after being held to just two games in 2012 with the Jets, and recorded 43 tackles, two interceptions and two forced fumbles.
