Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo is set to undergo an MRI on his back Monday, but the signal caller doesn't believe that his injury will be significant enough to sideline him for his team's huge Week 17 showdown with the Philadelphia Eagles with the NFC East Division title on the line this Sunday.

Romo, who was dealing with a sore back heading into the team's thrilling 24-23 victory over the division rival Washington Redskins, said his back hurt after he was hit in the first half of the game, but should be good to go when the Cowboys host another division rival in the Eagles in the regular season finale with a chance to win the division for the first time since 2009 hanging in the balance.

"That triggered it a little bit," Romo said of the first half hit on his back, according to ESPN. "Whatever the kid did on that one play, it really sent something that didn't feel comfortable. But it's in a completely different spot than the back stuff I had last year, so that's a good sign."

Romo underwent surgery to remove a cyst in his back last April and didn't take a snap until the team's training camp in July. Romo remained in the game despite the pain but looked as though he was suffering a bit throughout the rest of the contest.

Romo went 17-for-27 for 226 yards with two touchdowns and one interception, and had a game-winning touchdown pass to DeMarco Murray on a fourth-and-goal from the Washington 10 with just 1:08 remaining in the game. Romo is 342-for-535 (63.9%) for 3,828 yards with 31 touchdowns and 10 interceptions this season.

"He's kind of getting some special treatment for it," Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones said per ESPN. "It kind of was going down his leg there a little bit. But you saw it -- it didn't keep him from playing and won't keep [him] from playing."

Romo, who has dealt with many injuries over the years, including a rib injury in 2011, but his teammates never doubted he'd be good to go.

"Tony got right back in there to the next play and didn't go back to the trainers or nothing," Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant said via ESPN. "He knew how important that drive was, and we went down there and executed and scored."

The Cowboys (8-7) now take on the Eagles (8-6) with the division on the line. The first time these teams met this season, the Cowboys defeated the Eagles 17-3 in Philadelphia on Oct. 20.

Romo may be dealing with injuries, but he expects to give it his all in hopes to win the division Sunday against Philadelphia.
