Spurs: Victor Wembanyama's Newest Nike Ad is Going Viral for a Hilarious Reason

A San Anotnio Spurs fan, who had an incredulous look on his face during one of the games that went viral made it to Victor Wembanyama's Nike advertisement befitting the tagline: "I believe aliens are real and hoop among us." 

San Antonio Spurs star Victor Wembanyama might be taking a well-deserved break after a sensational debut season in the NBA, but Nike remains active in promoting the league's future and its brand.

The Swoosh brand has just unveiled a new advertisement portratying the 7-foot-4 center as an alien because of his otherworldly stature and skills.

The 25-second commercial drops Wembanyama's rookie season statistics with clips of a camera zooming in on an alien crop formation and Wembanyama in action.

"274 field goals, 128 three pointers, 254 blocks. No player in league history has averaged 20 points, ten boards, three assists, three blocks, one steal, and one three per game before," the narrator stated.

The camera then honed in on the fan with the incredulous look on his face standing in the center of the crop formation. Then the tagline: "I believe aliens are real and hoop among us."  

Victor Wembanyama's rumored lucrative deal with Nike

Wembanyama's contract with the American sportswear giant comes at a hefty price.

While neither side has officially confirmed the specific details of the deal, rumors suggest that the Frenchman has inked a multi-year agreement with Nike worth over $100 million.

The Spurs big man had already established a partnership with the brand while playing professionally in France before transitioning to the NBA, and this association continued into his rookie year in the NBA.
