Josh Hart the Iron Man Amongst Injured New York Knicks

Amongst the injuries to key players the New York Knicks have dealt with this season so far, Knicks guard Josh Hart remains a big-time contributor for a banged-up team.

Josh Hart had an outstanding performance Tuesday night, helping lead the Knicks to a 106-79 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers. He finished the game with 20 points but had a career-high19 rebounds and 10 assists, tallying his fourth triple-double of the season.

"I think we played to our strengths," Hart said. "I think we played faster. We took care of the ball. We rebounded the ball. We cut, we moved, we got good shots."

So far this season, Hart has averaged 9.8 points and 7.8 rebounds.

He has been a key contributor for the Knicks in games without Randle, Anunoby, and Brunson this season, putting in some big-time scoring and rebounding performances to help the Knicks.

Hart scored 19 points against the Magic on Mar.9th and 26 points in the Knicks' matchup against the Pistons on Feb. 26th.

OG Anunoby in his Return for the Knicks

OG Anunoby returned last night for the Knicks after undergoing an elbow injury not too long after he arrived from Toronto.

Anunoby, who last played on Jan. 27th, dropped 14 points with four rebounds and two assists while being a defensive pest against the 76ers.

The Knicks are a much better team with Anunoby on the court. In the games played without the standout defense wing, the Knicks went 8-10. They improved to 13-2 in the games that he was a part of.

An Update on the Julius Randle Injury

Knicks Head coach Tom Thibodeau provided an updated status on Julius Randle yesterday.

According to Tom Thibodeau, Randle, who is out with a shoulder injury, is doing light workouts; however, there is no timetable for his return.

"Shooting and doing individual work is all good. He can do 5-0, that sort of thing. Light contact with the pads," Thibodeau said, per SNY's Ian Begley.

During the Knicks' game against the Sixers, TNT's Jared Greenberg revealed that Randle "still needs to do some significant strengthening to that shoulder & needs to get the confidence that the shoulder will not pop out again."

Begley reported that there isn't a timetable for Randle's return or to take contact on his shoulder.

With the NBA Playoffs right around the corner, the Knicks could hope to get their All-Star power forward back sooner rather than later.
