NBA Commissioner Adam Silver has formally declared Phoenix, Arizona, as the host city for the 2027 NBA All-Star Weekend during a press conference on Thursday, March 7.
The All-Star Game for that year is scheduled to take place at the Footprint Center, the home arena of the Phoenix Suns.
"Phoenix is the ultimate basketball destination and we are excited for fans from around the world to experience our amazing city. We will provide an NBA All-Star Weekend unlike any other," Suns Governor Mat Ishbia said.
Phoenix is set to host the NBA All-Star weekend for the fourth time-1975, 1995, and 2009.
It is unclear if Footprint Center will host all All-Star Weekend festivities. The 2024 edition of the All-Star Weekend recently concluded in Indianapolis, taking place across two locations in the city.
The Saturday events unfolded at the Lucas Oil Stadium, the home of the NFL's Indianapolis Colts, while the Sunday exhibition game took place at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse, the home arena of the Indiana Pacers.
