WWE manager and executive Paul Heyman is slated to receive the prestigious honor of induction into the wrestling promotion's Hall of Fame Class of 2024.
However, the renowned figure has repeatedly turned down the Hall of Fame honor on multiple occasions because he believes he still has much to do in the professional wrestling business.
"I don't want a lifetime achievement award when I'm not done achieving things. I still have a lot of other work I want to do in this industry," Heyman said.
On Monday, March 4, WWE officially declared that Heyman will be the inaugural inductee in this year's Hall of Fame class.
The induction ceremony is scheduled to take place in April at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, just before the WrestleMania 40 weekend, which will take place at the Lincoln Financial Field from April 6 to 7.

Paul Heyman's ambitious plans for the future
Even with a storied career within the confines of the squared circle, the manager of the Bloodline remains eager to embark on new endeavors.
"I want to be involved in the first main event of WrestleMania in Havana, or on the moon, or on Mars when Elon Musk colonizes it. These are things that are going to happen in the future and I desperately want to be a part of it," the 58-year-old added.
