UFC 300: Alex Pereira to Defend Light Heavyweight Title against Jamahal Hill

The UFC 300 card is now set!

The event is expected to take place live at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The main event will be Alex Pereira defending his UFC Light Heavyweight Title against Jamahal Hill.

Hill, who was forced to vacate the title due to rupturing his Achilles tendon, is back and is now determined to regain the title that he never really lost.

Pereira last picked up a win against Jiří Procházka by knockout at UFC 295 in New York City.

The Main Card will also be headlined by a Women's Strawweight Champion fight, which would pit Zhang Weili to defend her title against Yan Xiaonan.

Weili recently won the belt for a second time, beating Carla Esparza at UFC 281 in November 2022.

Now, she will look to defend her title against Xiaonan, who is coming off a first-round knockout of former champion Jessica Andrade at UFC 288 in May.

This fight will mark the first time two Chinese fighters will step into the octagon against each other.

Another big-time match in the Lightweight Division is between Brazilian superstar Charles Oliveria and Arman Tsarukyan. This match's winner may get a chance at the Lightweight Title that is currently held by Islam Makhachev.

Oliveria was supposed to challenge Makhahev for the title in October at UFC 294, but was forced to withdraw due to a cut suffered in training. Now he looks to reclaim his title despite a loss to Mahkachev in 2022.

Tsarukyan, who has been quietly building himself up the ranks, made his UFC debut in a win against Makhachev and has racked up wins through his rise in the UFC.

UFC 300: Other Notable Fights

Other notable fights on the card will see two standouts in the Light Heavyweight Division do battle in Jiri Prochazka taking on Aleksandar Rakić.

Calvin Kattar will take Aljamain Sterling in the Lightweight Division along with Holly Holm taking on Kayla Harrison in a bout for the

Jim Miller becomes the only fighter to compete at UFC 100, 200, and 300; where he will take on Bobby Green. While former Collegiate athlete Bo Nickal looks to take on Cody Brundage in a Middleweight Division bout.

Brazilian Lopes takes on Sodiq Yuusuf in an early bout on the card.

UFC legend and former Strawweight Champion Jéssic Andrade will do battle against Marina Rodriguez.
