Super Bowl 58 is finally here and this year's clash would see the reigning Super Bowl Champs, the Kansas City Chiefs taking on the San Francisco 49ers for the second time in five years.

Both teams have had tremendous seasons to get to this point. Mahomes and the Chiefs continue to look stellar on their way to another Super Bowl behind a gritty defense and championship experience, while the Niners relied on their balanced attack on both sides of the ball.

The Chiefs and 49ers have had great performances from crucial contributors on both sides of the ball that helped get to this point. Here are some players to watch during the big game.

Super Bowl 58 Chiefs vs. 49ers: Can Brandon Aiyuk Shake Chiefs Defense?

It's no secret that the 49ers have one of the best offenses in the NFL.

And although it's expected that wide receiver Deebo Samuel or running back Christian McCaffrey will likely have their hands all over the game, you shouldn't sleep on wideout Brandon Aiyuk.

The 2020 first-round pick has been electric throughout the 2023 NFL season. Aiyuk put up 1,342 receiving yards and seven touchdowns during this season, and at times looked like a top ten receiver in the league.

He carried his stellar play into the postseason with a big-time acrobatic catch off a defender's helmet in the third quarter against the Detroit Lions during the NFC Championship game; some say this was the play that helped the 49ers rally back after being down by 17 points. Aiyuk finished the game with 68 receiving yards and one touchdown.

We can expect Aiyuk to pop off for another big game as most of the defensive attention might be on Samuel and McCaffrey, which may allow Aiyuk to slip under the radar, allowing him to step up huge for the NFC Champs.

The Super Bowl is where you make your name, and Brandon Aiyuk could make it on the grandest stage.

Super Bowl 58 Chiefs vs. 49ers: Will Chris Jones Get to Mr. Irrelevant?

The Chiefs had one of the best defenses in the league this season and Chris Jones was a massive part of that.

Jones is coming off a season where he terrorized quarterbacks all year, getting 10.5 sacks in the 2023 season.

He continued to be impactful throughout the playoffs. According to PFF, Jones racked up 85 quarterback pressures so far through the postseason.

On Sunday, however, the All-Pro defensive tackle has a considerable task ahead of the end, helping slow down one of the most lethal offenses in the NFL.

Jones could line up anywhere on the Chiefs' defensive line and cause problems for the 49ers' offensive line wherever it may be.

His presence alone could make it a long night for quarterback Brock Purdy, who is playing in his first ever Super Bowl.

Super Bowl 58 Chiefs vs. 49ers: Can George Kittle Be Back with a Vengeance?

George Kittle may be primed for a big game on Sunday. The Pro Bowl tight end has been crucial in Kyle Shanahan's system. Based on his performance during the regular and postseason, you should expect him to continue to perform at a high level.

Despite the Chiefs defense keeping some of the best tight ends in the league in check, the chances are still high that Kittle might go off.

Kittle looked superb in the postseason, catching six of eight targets for 108 yards and one touchdown over two postseason games; but his best work is done in the run game, leading the way for Christian McCaffrey.

His elite play might carry into Las Vegas, where he might be a problem for the Chiefs defense.

Furthermore, Kittle might be out for revenge following Super Bowl LIV where the Chiefs defeated him and the 49ers.
