The North Football Conference West will be shaken up as it features a 49ers vs. Seahawks Week 14 matchup, which has profound implications for each team's playoff hopes.

The two are just two weeks removed from their last meeting at Lumen Field, where the 49ers manhandled the Seahawks 31-13.

The Bay Area club has been great at home, 4-1, while the Seahawks have a problem on the road, currently at 2-4.

The 49ers sit at the top of the NFC West with the league's second-best record of 9-3, while the Seattle-based club are at 6-6, having lost four of their last five.

Coach Pete Carroll's squad can still salvage their 2023-2024 season, but they should start now if they want to do it. Their four remaining games will be against two teams above .500 (Philadelphia Eagles and Pittsburgh Steelers) and two below .500 (Tennessee Titans and Arizona Cardinals).

49ers vs. Seahawks Week 14 Odds, Spread, Betting Lines

The 49ers are clear favorites in every betting department in this game.

Spread: San Francisco (-10.5)

Moneyline: San Francisco (-583), Seattle (+426)

Total: 46.5 points

The Seahawks are always troubled by their slow start and expect the 49ers' offense and Brock Purdy to take advantage of it.

49ers vs. Seahawks Week 14 Preview

The 49ers vs. Seahawks matchup has been lopsided in recent years. In the last five times they slugged it out on the gridiron, the former owned all of them. Seahawks were outscored by a total of 69 points in all those games.

This upcoming game will be no different.

Coach Kyle Shanahan's squad conquered their last three hosts, and the Jacksonville Jaguars, who visited the Levi Stadium, did not stand a chance, bowing 34-3.

All those last four wins were by a double-digit margin.

The Seahawks' form is just the total opposite. The team, still in play for a wild card spot, was outscored by 59 points in their last five games, wherein they recorded just one victory, 29-26, against the lowly Washington Commanders.

They are 29th in third-down conversion rate at 45.2 percent.

Carroll insisted his squad is a playoff team, but that has yet to be seen.

"I just believe we are of that caliber," he said after their loss to the Cowboys.

"We have to find our way through it and get there. I don't know if there are enough games. Maybe there isn't. Maybe we run out of games. I don't know. We're going to have to make some big noise here in the next couple of weeks, and we just have to keep on going."

49ers vs. Seahawks Week 14 Pick

If the Seahawks pull this off, Carroll's team will be one step closer to proving they are a playoff-caliber squad.

However, the 49ers will be too much for them.

Seahawks will lose the game by double digits, 15-37.
