Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green provided insight into why he believes that Klutch Sports CEO Rich Paul is the best in the representation agency business during an interview on television news magazine show 60 Minutes.

The 33-year-old recently secured a four-year contract extension with the Warriors worth $100 million with a player option on the final year during the early stages of this year's free agency in July.

Green remarked during a gathering with Paul, which the news show was covering that the 41-year-old agent possesses a great understanding of the ins and outs of the sports business, including its behind-the-scenes aspects.

"Most agents treat athletes as if the athlete works for them. But there's a multi-billion-dollar business going on around most athletes that they don't understand. But they don't have a Rich Paul to teach them," the four-time NBA champion quipped.

The 2017 NBA Defensive Player of the Year joined the agency in March 2019 amid his then-impending free agency in 2020.

Huge summer for Rich Paul

After closing several blockbuster deals this offseason, the Klutch Sports CEO has negotiated contracts worth a total of $900 million this summer alone, according to league insider Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium.

"Agent Rich Paul, he's done nearly $900 million in player salary negotiations this offseason," Charania said on Inside The Association when he broke the news of Jarred Vanderbilt's extension with the Los Angeles Lakers last month.
