Former NFL quarterback Kordell Stewart has failed in his attempt to enforce a confidentiality agreement against his reality TV star ex-wife that would prevent her from talking about their short and stormy marriage.
According to TheDailyMail.com, the 41-year-old Stewart had sought to prevent Porsha Stewart from speaking about their personal life on her Real Housewives of Atlanta show. The website adds Stewart presented his wife with the terms of the legally-binding agreement after filing for divorce.
The Daily Mail reports Porsha Stewart has refused to sign the documents and throughout this season's episodes has hinted on-air she suspects her now ex-husband might be gay.
"He had no reason to divorce me," she said in an earlier episode of the show. "There were definitely times in the marriage that Kordell didn't necessarily want me physically and that made me wonder what he does want."
The former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback has steadfastly denied the allegations and last week his lawyer released a statement admonishing Porsha Stewart.
"For reasons we cannot understand, Porsha displayed a reckless abandonment of anything close to the truth for the last eight months," Shiel Edlin told
The Daily Mail. "We are also hopeful that Porsha will stop vilifying Kordell at every opportunity."
