Adrian Peterson Rips Ravens Fans [VIDEO]: 'They've Got The Worst Fans In The League' For Throwing Snow, Blasts Referees As Well

Adrian Peterson was not happy after the Minnesota Vikings fell to the Baltimore Ravens 29-26 on Sunday, and he laid into the referees and blasted the Ravens' fans after the game, calling them "the worst fans in the league."

Following the loss, Peterson was upset with the conduct of the fans at snowy M&T Bank Stadium.

"They've got the worst fans in the NFL," Peterson told ESPN following his team's crushing loss. "[They were] throwing snowballs the entire fourth quarter, like kids. It was a bad feeling, a bad feeling."

Peterson injured his foot in the loss and also had some harsh words for the officials handling the game after the team was penalized six times--including a pass interference call that nullified a Minnesota interception during Baltimore's game-winning drive in the last minute of play.

"Some of the calls that were made, you just went, 'Wow. I can't believe that was called,'" Peterson said, according to ESPN.

Peterson was also upset by a first quarter fumble by Minnesota running back Toby Gerhart which was upheld following a review.

"That's just one of them, one out of many [bad calls]," Peterson said per ESPN. "I wish [the Ravens] the best of luck the rest of the season. The Baltimore Ravens don't make the calls. It's a tough one to swallow."

Gerhart also disagreed with the call by the officials.

"I felt like I had both knees down, and unfortunately they saw it different," he told ESPN. "Immediately, I got up and went to the ref and pleaded my case and told him I was down. It went to review, and they saw it differently."

The defending Super Bowl champion Ravens improved to 7-6 with the win while Minnesota fell to 3-9-1.

Peterson missed the entire second half after suffering a sprained foot in the second quarter and he will have an MRI on Monday.

Peterson rushed for 15 yards on seven carries before the injury and has a league-leading 268 rushing attempts for 1,221 yards this season for 10 touchdowns.

While the injury and the loss were frustrating enough, the reigning NFL Most Valuable Player was also peeved by the officials and the fans in Baltimore.
