Chandler Jones of the Las Vegas Raiders shed light on his controversial tweets that implicated team owner Mark Davis in child molestation charges.

The 33-year-old claimed that his account was hacked at the time, and Jones has since sought forgiveness via Twitter in a report by the New York Post.

"We got a hold of my account, my apologies again," the four-time Pro Bowler posted.

The controversial posts popped up after Jones missed his second-straight game. The Raiders went on to lose to the Buffalo Bills that day.

"I wish I could play with my brothers, but marky mark is holding a huge secret that only I know!" one of the tweets read and has since been deleted.

However, the Daily Mail managed to capture and save those screenshots.

The infamous social media posts, hacked or not, will likely add to the strained relationship between him and the Raiders.

They come not long after the one-time Super Bowl champion ranted on Instagram, claiming that he had been locked out of the team's gym when he wanted to work out. That post has since been deleted, ESPN reported.

Chandler Jones is in the second year of his $51 million deal with the Raiders. However, the 33-year-old said he no longer wanted to play for the team.

When asked to comment on the Chandler Jones situation, Raiders coach Josh McDaniels said that it was a personal, private matter he would not discuss with the media.

"We've never really gone into those kind of things, so I'm going to steer away from that," McDaniels stated.
