The Boston Celtics have signed wingman Svi Mykhailiuk to a one-year contract, according to NBA insider Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The Ukrainian will be suiting up for his seventh team in six seasons since the Los Angeles Lakers drafted him with the 47th overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft.

The 26-year-old spent the first months of his rookie season playing with the purple and gold franchise, wherein he was teammates with the NBA's all-time leading scorer, LeBron James.

Mykhailiuk was eventually traded midseason to the Detroit Pistons, where he spent nearly two years. Stints with the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Toronto Raptors followed.

The sharpshooter spent the 2022-23 NBA season with the New York Knicks and Charlotte Hornets, averaging 6.9 points, 1.7 rebounds, and 1.7 assists in 14.6 minutes per game. He also shot a career-high 42.4 percent from downtown.
