A surprising trade proposal featuring two of the league's superstars could make sense for the Philadelphia 76ers and New Orleans Pelicans.
Popular Sixers fan page The Sixer Sense, powered by FanSided, made a hypothetical deal involving disgruntled Sixers guard James Harden and Pelicans forward Zion Williamson.
The details of the transaction are as follows:
Philadelphia 76ers get: Zion Williamson
New Orleans Pelicans get: James Harden, 2029 first-round pick (unprotected), 2026 & 2030 first-round pick swaps, 2024 second-round pick (via the New York Knicks)
The Sixers could finally move on from the ugly saga involving Harden and their president of basketball operations, Daryl Morey.
The 33-year-old guard slammed the team executive during an Adidas promotional event in China, accusing him of being a "liar" for not granting his trade request.

Zion Williamson could help Embiid win title for Philly
While Williamson's career has been marred with injuries for most of the time, he has shown flashes of brilliance every time he steps on the court.
Despite all the missed time, the 23-year-old power forward has been named an NBA All-Star twice in his young career.
Meanwhile, the Pelicans could do a mini rebuild, getting a proven superstar in Harden while giving the keys to the team to Brandon Ingram, alongside a nice haul of draft picks to continue building for the future.
