First, Aaron Rodgers. Now, Peyton Manning.

Green Bay Packers young quarterback Jordan Love is doing everything he can to be ready for a new season by turning to the best people who played his position.

Love, who is set to become the Packers' new number-one QB with the departure of Rodgers to the New York Jets, revealed he had a sit down with legendary Peyton Manning and made sure he took something with him from that meeting.

One important thing he learned from the former Indianapolis Colts star is the desire to be coached hard.

"He had a lot of really good gems just in terms of taking notes, how you watch film," Love said via Ryan Wood of PackersNews.com.

"When you're at home by yourself, are you writing down questions? Things that you can come back, ask your coaches later. How are you asking to be coached? Are you a guy who wants to be coached really hard? Are you a guy who kind of just wants to be able to do your own thing? It all really matters."

Manning is the right guy to turn to for upcoming QBs in the NFL. The 1998 no. 1 overall draft pick won five season MVPs and two Super Bowls.

Love, selected 20th overall in 2020 by the Packers, will come to the new season as the number one quarterback and make a bid to become their new franchise player.

What he learned from Rodgers

Love also got a front-row seat in witnessing Rodgers' greatness with the Packers after spending two seasons with him.

A-Rod is on a different team now, but he still took the time to advise Love.

"He said just be yourself, have fun, enjoy it," Love shared about his text conversation with the former teammate.

"It's obviously my time now, and he just said, you know, be yourself. I mean, that's all you can do."
