Brooklyn Nets star Joe Johnson has signed an agreement which will require him to pay $2,500 in monthly child support and buy the mother of his child a new car and pay moving costs for her to relocate to New York City.

According to TMZ, Johnson recently signed an agreement with Shannon Becton that will keep her and their six-year-old son, Gavin, in New York City and closer to his father. The website adds Johnson will also be responsible for renting his baby mama a home at a cost of up to $5,000 a month as well as pay for private schooling, medical insurance and extracurricular activities for his son.

TMZ previously reported Johnson sued Becton last year in order to establish he was the boy's father and set up a child support arrangement. Reportedly, the agreement also stipulates that the parents share joint legal and physical custody of their son, who will now primarily live with Johnson in NYC until his mother relocates there..

TMZ adds the agreement struck by the two further stipulates if Johnson is traded he will again relocate Becton and the boy to that city.
