Tennessee's lead at the top of the AFC South standings was sliced to 1.5 games following Indianapolis' 31-0 win over Houston in Week 13. The Titans will look to preserve that advantage in Week 14 when they host the Jacksonville Jaguars in a critical divisional clash.

The Titans are 4-2 at home this season, while the Jaguars have yet to win on the road, losing all of their five away games this campaign. Can Jacksonville end its losing rut on the road in Week 14, or will Tennessee end its two-game losing skid in this contest? Here's a breakdown of the Jaguars vs Titans matchup.

Jacksonville Jaguars installed as +9 underdogs

The Jacksonville Jaguars have crashed back to earth following their stunning win over the Buffalo Bills at home in Week 9, losing their last four outings against the Indianapolis Colts, San Francisco 49ers, Atlanta Falcons, and the Los Angeles Rams.

The Jaguars had difficulty stopping Los Angeles' passing game in their 37-7 loss on Sunday, with the Rams racking up three touchdowns through the air. They had no answer for Matthew Stafford, who completed 26 of 38 passes for 295 yards.

It is crucial for the Jaguars to get a quick start against the Titans. They trailed the entire contest against the Rams, who scored the game's first 10 points. One guy who needs to step up for Jacksonville in Week 14 is Trevor Lawrence. He struggled mightily in the loss to the Rams, completing just 16 of 28 passes for 145 yards with no touchdowns.

The Jaguars will have their work cut out for them in Week 14 as they will face the Tennessee Titans. The Jaguars lost their last four games against the Titans, including a heavy 37-19 defeat in October.

Fortunately for the Jaguars, they will face a Titans team without the injured Derrick Henry. He ran for 130 yards and three scores on 29 carries in Tennessee's first meeting with Jacksonville this season.

Tennessee Titans enter Week 14 as -9 favorites

The Tennessee Titans headed into their bye week in a state of disarray after suffering their second consecutive defeat in Week 12. They now trail New England by a half-game in the AFC standings after the Patriots' 14-10 win over the Bills in Week 13.

The Titans lost ground in the race for the top seed in the conference after suffering a 36-13 defeat against New England in Week 12. In that clash, Ryan Tannehill looked out of sorts, completing just 11 of 21 passes for 93 yards with one touchdown and one interception.

The good news for Tannehill is that his next opponent will be the woeful Jaguars. Jacksonville allowed an average of 7.4 pass yards per play in its loss to the Rams. Tannehill threw for 197 yards and a touchdown in the win against the Jags earlier this season.
