Dan Campbell has had an awful start to his career as head coach of Detroit, losing each of his first eight games with the Lions. Can he finally stop the rut in Week 10 and record his first win against Pittsburgh in the Lions vs Steelers showdown? Read on below for an in-depth breakdown of this matchup.

Detroit Lions installed as +7.5 underdogs

What in the world is happening to Detroit? The Lions enter Week 10 as the NFL's only winless team and the pressure is mounting on head coach Dan Campbell to register that first victory and avoid joining the 2008 side that went 0-16.

Finding that win against the Steelers will be difficult, though, as the Lions have struggled mightily in their recent meetings. The Lions have lost each of their previous five games against the Steelers. They are 0-3 at Heinz Field, with each defeat coming by at least 10 points.

One guy who needs to step up for the Lions in Week 10 is Jared Goff. He is tied for 31st in the league in yards per completion, averaging just 9.7 this season. Goff looked out of sorts in their last game against the Philadelphia Eagles, passing for just 222 yards with no touchdowns. It did not help matters that he was sacked five times in that contest.

The Lions will have their work cut out for them again in Week 10 as they will face one of the best edge rushers in the game in T.J. Watt. He had three sacks in Week 9 against the Chicago Bears. Watt now has 11 1/2 sacks for the season.

Pittsburgh Steelers enter Week 10 as -7.5 favorites

Pittsburgh extended its winning streak to four games with a nerve-wracking 29-27 victory over the Chicago Bears in Week 9. It was a critical win for the Steelers, who now just trail leaders Baltimore Ravens by just a half-game in the AFC North standings. It has been a remarkable recovery for Mike Tomlin's men, who started the season 1-3.

The Steelers looked like they were on their way to a monumental collapse, letting slip a 14-point lead in the fourth quarter to trail the Bears 27-26 with 1:46 remaining. Ben Roethlisberger made sure there won't be a catastrophic defeat, guiding the Steelers 52 yards to field goal range and setting up Chris Boswell's game-winning 40-yard attempt.

Roethlisberger, who completed 21 of 30 passes for 205 yards and two touchdowns, engineered the 50th game-winning drive and 38th fourth-quarter comeback of his illustrious 18-year NFL career. He now has four game-winning drives this season. Big Ben has a cumulative passer rating of 106.3 over the Steelers' past four games after having a low rating of 80 during their first four outings.
