The latest project of The Rock's Seven Bucks Productions is a Paige WWE movie based on her family and her road to the biggest wrestling company in the world. The roles of Paige's parents have been cast and they are big name stars.
According to Deadline, Paige's mother will be portrayed by "Game of Thrones" star Lena Headey. On the other hand, her father is going to be played by Nick Frost, who gained worldwide attention for his roles on "Shaun of the Dead" and "The World's End".
Headey is most known for her role as Cersei Lannister in HBO's big television show "Game of Thrones". She joins Florence Pugh and Jack Lowden, who portrays Paige and her brother Zak, in the star-studded cast.
The Paige WWE movie was inspired by the documentary "The Wrestlers: Fighting With My Family" and it will be written by Stephen Merchant. The genre of the film is going to be comedy-drama and it follows the story of the Bevis wrestling family.
Ricky, the patriarch, was a former gangster and professional wrestler while his wife, Julia, is still wrestling around the world. Paige, whose real name is Saraya, became a WWE superstar in 2011 wherein she won the Divas championship twice in her young career.
The Paige WWE movie will reportedly be titled "Fighting With My Family" with The Rock's Seven Bucks Productions as the main producers. WWE Studios, Misher Films and Film4 will also have a hand in the comedy-drama film.
However, it's not all good between the WWE and Paige despite the upcoming movie. According to Cageside Seats, the 24-year-old WWE superstar is looking for a way out of her contract as she wants to pursue a career in mixed martial arts.
Paige has been training in MMA with her fiancé and former WWE superstar Alberto Del Rio. If she gets released by the WWE, she will reportedly make her MMA debut in Combate Americas first-ever pay-per-view event.
