Paige and Alberto Del Rio are enjoying their time together as an engaged couple. However, it seems like they have started to make wedding plans since Del Rio revealed in an interview that they are set to get married in May.
In an interview with The MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani, Del Rio was asked regarding his engagement with Paige back in October 2016. He confirmed that they will likely get married in May because of their busy schedules.
Paige and Del Rio went public with their relationship in May 2016 just three months after she broke up with A Day to Remember guitarist Kevin Skaff. A lot of fans were surprised by the relationship because of their age difference.
The two-time Divas champion is just 24 years old while Del Rio is already 39 years old. He also has three children with her ex-wife Angela Velkei, who filed for divorce in June 2016. However, Del Rio is claiming that their marriage already ended in June 2015.
The former WWE superstar also revealed in the interview the possible return date of Paige from her neck injury. He told Helwani that her fiancé is doing great after neck surgery late last year and she has been doing physical therapy at the moment.
"She's hurt at the moment. She had neck surgery three months ago and is doing physical therapy at the moment. We don't know when she's coming back, hopefully, April, May, June, we don't know," Del Rio said, via Fightful.
Paige has been on hiatus from wrestling since June 27 when she last appeared on Monday Night Raw. She also got suspended twice for violating the WWE's Wellness Policy and there were even rumors that she is forcing her way out of the company to be with Del Rio.
It should be noted that Del Rio left the WWE on really bad terms last year. Nevertheless, Paige is still part of the WWE and she has an upcoming project with The Rock and WWE Films.
