In the midst of a 30-day suspension, Alberto Del Rio has reportedly come to terms with the WWE on his release.
It was announced earlier this month that Del Rio and his girlfriend Paige were suspended 30 days for violating the company's wellness policy. As usual, it wasn't revealed what caused them to fail the test.
Word going around backstage is that Del Rio is done with WWE, according to F4WOnline.com.
Del Rio, who has reportedly been frustrated for months with his direction, returned to the company last year after being fired for a backstage altercation.
There is no word on if Paige will follow her boyfriend out the door. After CM Punk quit WWE in 2014, his wife AJ Lee stuck around for over a year.
Paige and Del Rio likely weren't happy when the WWE put them on separate brands during the split. Paige wound up on "RAW," while her boyfriend was drafted to "SmackDown Live." Paige has been sidelined with an injury as of late.
It's possible Paige's frustration could lead to her leaving as well, but nothing is confirmed.
When the relationship first came to light, there were rumors of it being a "Total Divas" angle, but it became obvious that the two really were together. Paige even got a "papi" tattoo to commemorate the relationship.
Paige and Del Rio's courtship first came to light when pictures of them kissing at a Disney theme park surfaced online.
Del Rio, 39, was previously married to a woman by the name of Angela Rodriguez, but it seems they've split up. Paige, 24, had her last well-known relationship with A Day To Remember rocker Kevin Skaff come to an end in the public eye on the "Total Divas" reality show.
Now, the future of both appears up in the air.
