Kyrie Irving and Kehlani were able to hug it out.
The Cavaliers star has a sordid history with the singer as the two broke up in March amid rumors Kehlani cheated on her significant other. The rumors proved false, but there was a rift between the two after Kehlani went back with her ex-boyfriend, PartyNextDoor.
It seems all is well between the two now.
Kehlani and Irving reportedly met up in Chicago on Friday night and were seen smiling together and hugging. While it may lead to some speculation that they are an item again, a rep for the "You Should Be Here" singer said the two have mended fences as friends, not lovers.
"They are only friends, not back together," a source told TMZ Sports. "Things ended bad and they hadn't had an opportunity to see each other ... and they wanted to meet up face to face and make peace."
From the sounds of things, the two made up just fine.
After their relationship ended back in March, PND posted a photo of himself and Kehlani in bed.
The post led to people going hard after the singer on social media for apparently cheating on Irving. There were then reports that Kehlani tried to kill herself after she was met with venom on social media after the leaked photo.
Around that time, Kehlani revealed a since-deleted photo on Instagram of herself in a hospital bed hooked up to an IV. She wrote a detailed caption about wanting to leave the earth.
Irving took to social media after Kehlani's near-suicide attempt to clear the air about how she didn't cheat on him and he also took aim at PND for spreading the photo around.
"I do not justify the picture or what dude did to try and spark all of this non sense that could have been avoided," Irving wrote in a since-deleted series of tweets, according to TMZ. "Me and Kehlani were not dating when the picture came out,"
The NBA champion is no stranger to drama with the ladies as the mother of his child, Andrea Wilson, has gone after him in search of more child support and has also tried to gain sole custody of their kid.
Romantically, Irving has been linked most recently to Chantel Jeffries, who has been connected to such names as NFL wide receiver DeSean Jackson and pop star Justin Bieber in the past.
