Aaron Rodgers Injury Not Only Incident From Chicago Bears Win Over Green Bay

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers wasn't the only one hurt as a result of the Chicago Bears' 27-20 victory over the Packers on Monday night. And no one got arrest in connection with Rodgers' pain.

The same cannot be said for a husband and wife, who made a bet on the game. According to the Beaver Dam Daily Citizen in Madison, Wis., John Grant, 42, was charged with the use of an electric weapon after he tasered his wife early Tuesday morning.

According to the report, Grant is a Bears fan and his wife is a Packers fan. Grant said the two made a bet on the game, and the winner would be allowed to taser the loser with a stun gun.

Apparently, the use of a stun gun is not allowed legally if the police are called.

The report said a Mayville, Wis. Police officer responded to Dan' King Pin to speak to a woman who claimed that her husband used a stun gun on her three times  while the two were at another establishment, Sidelines Tap.

The wife reported that she and her husband were smoking cigarettes outside of Sidelines Tap, when her husband, Grant, tasered her with the stun gun twice on her butt and once on her thigh. Grant reportedly told the officer of their bet.

The wife video recorded the tasering episode and showed that and text messages to the officer, proving to him that the bet existed and that the wife consented.

The report did not state why the police were called or whether tasering of any kind is illegal, but Grant made his initial appearance of the electric weapons charge on Tuesday.

According to defenseproducts101.com, consumer use of tasering is legal, but it is unclear whether the website is current.

The Daily Citizen added that Grant faces up to $10,000 in fines and up to six years in prison if convicted.
