Kevin Durant Free Agency Rumors: Thunder Star Has Big Plans Before Hitting Open Market [VIDEO]

Talks of Kevin Durant's future have been put on hold for at least another round, but the Thunder star wants more.

The Oklahoma City forward is sure to have a lot of speculation following him once this season comes to an end as he's set to hit the open market on July 1. The soon-to-be unrestricted free agent has a lot more to focus on than where he plays next season.

Durant once again carried the Thunder in their 113-99 series-clinching victory against the suddenly aging Spurs in Game 6 on Wednesday in Oklahoma City.

The Thunder clinched a trip to the Western Conference finals and will take on the defending NBA champion Warriors, who set an NBA record with a 73-win season.

Though defeating the Spurs was quite a surprise to many pundits and fans, overcoming the Warriors and unanimous MVP Stephen Curry would be even crazier. Durant doesn't want to focus on free agency and he isn't quite satisfied with beating the Spurs. He wants more.

"This is not our championship," Durant declared following the Game 6 win, according to Yahoo Sports.

Durant put up a game-high 37 points in the series-clincher just two games after leading the way with 41 points in the Thunder's Game 4 victory. Durant, 27, has averaged a blistering 27.4 points per game through 11 playoff contests thus far.

Oklahoma City is in the conference finals for the second time in the last three seasons and fourth in the last six, but only has one NBA Finals appearance to show for it in that span. The Thunder fell to the Heat in five games in the 2011-12 NBA Finals.

After getting through the Spurs, the Thunder will once again be the underdog in Round 3. Much like his impending free agency, a matchup with the mighty Warriors doesn't faze Durant.

"It really didn't matter to us," Durant told The Vertical (via Yahoo Sports). "We can't control the noise outside. We focus on everybody on this side, in this practice floor and this arena. We worry about that. That's part of the job. People are going to make predictions and make assumptions about everything. We just got to play."

As long as they keep playing, the uncertainty of Durant's future in Oklahoma City will be put on hold.
