Aaron Rodgers, Olivia Munn Relationship Update: Actress Won't Be Happy With John Kasich's Dig At Her Boyfriend [VIDEO]

Olivia Munn may have to begin putting her sword skills to good use on a certain politician.

The "X-Men: Apocalypse" actress may not be happy with what Republican presidential candidate hopeful and Ohio governor John Kasich had to say about her boyfriend, Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

Rodgers had an up-and-down year with the Packers this season, which led to many people lashing out at Munn as being the reason for his struggles. Kasich didn't attack Munn like the rest of them, but he did spit fire at the Packers quarterback -- in his own backyard.

Kasich appeared in Wisconsin and was asked who he'd choose as his running mate in the off chance he represented the Republican party in the presidential race. He gave a full-on answer, then took a dig at Rodgers.

"So, you want to pick somebody who you are comfortable with and somebody who understands what you're all about," Kasich said. "And somebody who's not afraid to speak up to you. And you know what I believe? I think everybody wants to be involved in something that's bigger than themselves, and that's what I always try to represent and present in public light."

That was all well and good, but then he insulted the quarterback right in front of his cheesehead representatives.

"So it'd be somebody along those lines," Kasich concluded. "Aaron Rodgers, maybe if he had a better year next year, we'll see."

The Packers signal caller had some struggles early on in the season, but ended up completing 60.7 percent of his passes for 3,821 yards with 31 touchdowns and eight interceptions. Green Bay's season ultimately ended when the team lost to the Cardinals in overtime on Jan. 16 despite a Rodgers Hail Mary.

Though Munn was criticized by fans and pundits alike during the Packers struggles, she took aim at the media for publishing stories about her affecting Rodgers' play.

"I think fans should be able to say what they want," Munn said on Opie Radio in January. "You can't be in the public position and then cry about everybody who says something. But, when you have news organizations, the ones that were built by the trust of the public, the ones that you expect to have some accountability, that aren't just reprocessing whatever, if you want to come after me, you better be sure."

What about when politicians go after her boyfriend?
