It's an election year, and Tim Tebow may have his own political aspirations someday.
Given a lot of people's admiration for him and his penchant for helping out those in need, the former NFL quarterback could very well make a great politician. While he may not be thinking about doing it right now, Tebow recently revealed that it's something he could find "intriguing" down the line.
"It's been crazy hasn't it? It's been a whirlwind watching everything," Tebow told Fox News at his recent charity golf tournament when discussing the Presidential race. "I don't know in this time in my life, but if there's a chance you can make a difference someday in something, that would be intriguing."
Intriguing indeed. Though Tebow's NFL career has taken a hit, he could eventually find his path through politics.
He became a media sensation when he unexpectedly led the Broncos to an overtime playoff thriller over the Steelers in a Wild Card game in 2011, only to fall to the Patriots the following round and then flame out from there.
The quarterback then spent stints with the Jets, Patriots and most recently the Eagles, who cut him in September prior to the beginning of the regular season. Tebow has been unemployed in the NFL since being cut by Philadelphia, but he's stayed plenty busy.
Tebow has done a lot of great work with his charity, The Tim Tebow Foundation, and has also been a part of SEC Nation, dissecting college football games.
The former NFL signal caller has also stayed in the public eye due to seemingly everyone wanting to know who he's dating. After rumors of a romance with former Miss Universe Olivia Culpo proved to be false, speculation arose that Tebow had something going on with actress Nina Dobrev, after the two were seen getting hot and heavy on "Lip Sync Battle" last month.
Nothing has come out publicly about the speculation being true thus far, but Tebow has admitted he's looking for love.
"I'm single, yes," Tebow said last month on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show.' "Obviously [I'm looking for] someone that I'm extremely attracted to, but I think there has to be more there. There has to be depth. Obviously, you have to have similar beliefs, you have to have chemistry [and] character. But there has to be something more than glitz and glamour."
If the romance doesn't come, Tebow could always turn his attention toward politics.
